It’s time for another Fan Girl Friday, where I’ll be your ultimate fan girl, shining a spotlight on some incredible small businesses and organizations that have captured my heart.
From meaningful services to mission-driven communities, these are the spaces making a real impact. This series is about celebrating passion, leadership, and the people creating opportunities for growth and connection.
Let’s celebrate purpose, learning, and community together. Get ready to meet an organization I’m truly fangirling over.
Meet the Organization + Executive Director

Some connections just feel aligned with your values right away.
That’s exactly how I feel about The Women’s Leadership Institute (WLI).
As someone who deeply values learning, growth, and community, this organization immediately stood out to me. Their work centers around bringing women together in a way that feels thoughtful, intentional, and impactful.
WLI Executive Director, Rabbi Emily Langowitz is someone I’ve had the privilege of learning from for years.
I first met Rabbi Langowitz when we worked together at Temple Solel, and I was immediately drawn to the way she teaches. She makes learning feel meaningful, accessible, and engaging. My husband and I went through her wedding prep courses and learned so much, so having her officiate our wedding felt like the perfect fit. She led a ceremony that was simple, intentional, and welcoming to everyone, even those unfamiliar with Jewish traditions.
Over the years, I’ve continued to learn from her through women’s Torah study and time spent together outside of class. What stands out most is how she leads. She has a calm, grounded presence and a quiet strength. I once watched her guide a heated conversation back on track with so much ease and intention, holding space for everyone while keeping the environment open and respectful. It was seamless.
That kind of leadership is rare, and it’s exactly why she has stepped into her role at The Women’s Leadership Institute so beautifully. I’ve followed the WLI cohorts for years and even applied multiple times before being accepted, and it’s been incredible to see how she has expanded access and created more opportunities for women to be part of it.
She creates space for growth, learning, and connection, and that is something I will always value.

Community-Focused – They bring women together in a meaningful, intentional way.
Growth-Oriented – This isn’t surface-level learning. It’s deep, reflective, and designed to help you evolve.
Leadership Development – They are actively shaping the next generation of women leaders.
Safe Space to Learn – No pressure, no perfection. Just space to explore, ask questions, and grow.
Rooted in Purpose – Everything they do ties back to building stronger individuals and stronger communities.
The Takeaway
This isn’t just about taking a class.
It’s about becoming more connected to yourself. More confident in your voice. More intentional in how you show up.
In a world full of noise, spaces like this help you come back to what really matters.
And that’s something I will always fangirl over.
