As a proud member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO), I'm thrilled to share that this year's GO Month National Service Project focuses on something close to my heart – book donations!
Why Books?
NAPO recognizes that many of us, whether home organizers, move managers, digital organizers, or productivity consultants, often work with clients who have stacks of unused books waiting to be decluttered. It's time to turn those forgotten books into treasures for others. At Organized By JJ, I believe in the power of acquiring knowledge and fostering a love for learning. Books are not just items; they are gateways to new worlds, opportunities, and personal growth.
How Can You Participate?
Donate Locally: Look for nearby libraries or non-profits supporting literacy programs. Encourage friends and family to join the cause.
Sell for a Cause: Collect and sell books, donating the proceeds to literacy programs or local educational non-profits.
Organize at Non-Profits: Volunteer to organize books at non-profit organizations.
Partner Up: Collaborate with local non-profits, collecting specific book types for their unique needs.
Digital Declutter: Extend the initiative to digital libraries. Encourage others to organize their e-books and share the impact.
